The research test group consisted of 118 overweight and obese individuals
(BMI 28-32 kg/m2), who were randomly assigned into two groups: one that received Clarinol™ and another given an olive-oil placebo. Reduction of the fat mass in the Clarinol™-supplemented group was already observed after three months. For women, this was primarily in the abdomen and legs, and for men, mostly in the abdomen. At the end of the trial, it was determined that subjects had lost approximately 2 kg of fat in these areas – the equivalent of 8 packages of butter – without any particular dieting or exercise efforts.
The safety of Clarinol™ was proven once again in the study too. Close monitoring of blood parameters and insulin sensitivity showed that neither was adversely affected.
