Fat Burning
Aerobic exercise includes activities like jogging, swimming, biking and aerobic dancing. In order to make your body burn fat to produce energy, aerobic exercise should last for at least 20 minutes.

Muscle Building
Anaerobic exercise such as weight lifting, sit-ups and push-ups, improve muscular strength. Strong muscles will help you keep going longer during your aerobic activities, lower your chances of injury, help support your skeletal structure and burn more calories.
